Why Methodist Dallas: Methodist Dallas was the first hospital that made me fall in love with the practice and process of internal medicine. The residents, attendings, consulting services, PAs and NPs, nurses, pharmacists, techs, and staff all work hard to make everyone feel welcome, and I frequently have told others I have never been to a hospital where everyone is consistently so happy. Combined with the small resident class size, available fellowships, combination of caring for underserved patients in an academic medicine setting, urban location, and opportunities for procedural and ultrasound mastery, Methodist Dallas is my ideal place to train for residency.
