Family Medicine at Methodist Charlton Medical Center Externship

The externship in Family Medicine at Methodist Charlton Medical Center in Dallas, Texas is conducted in two- or four-week segments.

This program is designed for fourth-year students at medical schools in the United States and Canada who are interested in pursuing a career in Family Medicine and considering Methodist Health System as a potential program for residency training.

The Family Medicine externship includes both clinical outpatient experience and inpatient experience. All activities are coordinated and overseen by our clerkship director.
