Vacation Leave: 20 days of paid time off annually
Sick Leave: up to 10 days
Leave of Absence: 6 weeks of paid leave over the duration of the program for approved personal medical, parental, or caregiver leave; effective the first day of training
Health Insurance: fully paid health insurance coverage for residents, fellows, and eligible family members; coverage is effective the first day of training and includes prescription drug benefit
Dental and Vision Insurance: optional, cost-shared coverage plans are available for residents, fellows, and eligible family members; coverage is effective the first day of training
Life Insurance: residents and fellows receive term life insurance. Supplemental and dependent life insurance is available for purchase.
Tax Saver Plan: residents and fellows receive a $2000 Flexible Spending Account annually
Voluntary benefits: various voluntary benefits are available for purchase such as accident insurance, legal services, and short-term disability.
Retirement Benefits: residents and fellows are eligible to contribute to 403(b) plan via payroll deduction.
Malpractice Insurance: provided for residents and fellows and includes tail coverage.
Certifications: required certifications such as BLS, ACLS, ATLS, NRP, etc. are paid as needed
Book Allowance: $300 annually
Technology Allowance: $400 toward the one-time purchase of a smart phone, tablet, or laptop
Lab Coats: 2 lab coats on arrival with annual replacement available
Presentation Travel Allowance: discretionary financial support to assist with regional/national presentation of scholarly projects
