Dallas combines Southern hospitality, cosmopolitan style, Old-West appeal, and modern sophistication. It's the ninth largest city in the nation, and according to Fortune magazine "the best city in North America for business." Despite the size and accolades, the cost of living remains well within reason.
Attractions in Dallas include the largest downtown arts district in the country, music and entertainment districts such as Deep Ellum, Uptown, and Lower Greenville, internationally recognized restaurants – from food trucks to five-star dining, and fashion centers. Plus there's the American Airlines Center — home to the Dallas Mavericks and the Dallas Stars and the venue for other professional sporting events, concerts, rodeos, and other major entertainment events.
In the Dallas – Fort Worth Metroplex, you'll find AT&T Stadium home of the Dallas Cowboys, and you can also visit Six Flags over Texas for family fun. On the nature side, Dallas County has lots of lakes for swimming, fishing, and other water sports.
But above all Dallas is known for its people. Around here there's no such thing as a stranger.
