DALLAS — Methodist Health System has been recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Mental Well-being by Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group, earning a five-star rating in this year's national rankings.
“I am proud that Methodist has been recognized by Newsweek as America's Greatest Workplaces for Mental Well-being,” said James C. Scoggin, Jr., Chief Executive Officer at Methodist. “We believe that investing in the well-being of our employees and the Methodist family is essential. When employees are well, our organization is stronger and patients are better served.”
Newsweek and Plant-A Insights Group recognized companies through a rigorous evaluation based on an assessment of publicly accessible data, discussions, and interviews with HR professionals, and large-scale confidential online surveys conducted among U.S. employees working for U.S. companies.
“Being recognized by Newsweek for the work we do as a system to support and improve the mental well-being of each staff member is terrific,” said President and Chief Operating Officer Pam Stoyanoff, MBA, CPA, FACHE. “People face everyday challenges that put pressure on their ability to maintain a positive attitude. We emphasize employee well-being every day and are so proud to be recognized for our collective efforts.”
This recognition underscores Methodist’s recognition of the vital role that mental well-being plays in the workplace and the commitment it makes to all employees to provide comprehensive mental health resources, including both wellness and employee assistance programs.
“At Methodist we are focused on actively supporting the overall well-being of our employees, which enables them to bring their best selves to work and provide world-class care to our patients and communities,” said Alen Brcic, Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer. “We are grateful for Newsweek recognizing Methodist among America's Greatest Workplaces for Mental Well-being.”
