Literature/Search Response Instructions

You’ve received them – what do you do now ?
- Identify the article titles that you want a copy of.
- Each article SHOULD have a PMID number near the end of the article.
-
To order the article from the library, just email or fax a list of the
PMID numbers that you wish to order. Fax to 214-947-2334 or 214-947-2334. Email:
library@mhd.com
- In the event that there is no PMID number, send us (a) the exact title
of the article, (b) the principal author’s last name and first 2
initials, and (c) the year the article was published. We generally do
NOT need the name of the journal, issue, etc.
- In your email, indicate the date by which you need to have the articles.
- Tell us where to deliver the articles or give us a fax number to which
we can fax them.
- Give us your name, phone number and/or email address so that we’ll
have a way to get back to you if we have any questions.
- Don’t hesitate to call us at (a) 214-947-2330 or (b) 214-947-2341
should there be a need.
In a crisis situation, we can usually get an article the same day if we
receive the request no later than mid-day. However, it normally takes
approximately 3 working days to get an article that we do not have in
our own library.
