New Labor & Delivery Unit at Methodist Charlton

Updates are coming to our Labor and Delivery area with the comfort of new families in mind. We’ll help you welcome your newest addition in a soothing, supportive environment.

With the comfort of expecting mothers, their families, and newborns in mind, our newly renovated Labor and Delivery unit features more spacious rooms and state-of-the-art equipment.

The delivery rooms are designed to more therapeutic with:

• More comfortable labor beds
• Neonatal warmers
• Recliners with built-in vibrating massage functions
• New bathtubs that provide hydrotherapy

The visitor’s lounge is outfitted with new bench seating, complete with ports to charge personal electronics, and improved refreshments and vending machine options.

“The renovations in the Labor and Delivery department have totally transformed that unit into a beautiful space to welcome new babies,” Methodist Charlton President Fran Laukaitis said.
