Methodist Mansfield nurses make moms feel extra special

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center has teamed up with the Walgreens on Broad Street to make Mother’s Day one to remember! Every mother giving birth at Methodist Mansfield this Sunday will receive a small gift bag filled with make-up and toiletries from the nurse. These gifts will hopefully make mom feel even more special this Mother’s Day as she enjoys her new bundle of joy.
As a leading hospital in Tarrant County, Methodist Mansfield strives to deliver the best care to moms and babies. The hospital most recently was re-designated a Texas Ten Step Program facility from the Texas Department of State Health Services for encouraging breastfeeding as the preferred method of feeding for newborns and infants. Methodist Mansfield was also recognized by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners® and the International Lactation Consultant Association® for excellence demonstrated in staffing IBCLC on the maternal-child health care team, and for conducting activities that demonstrate promotion, protection and support of breastfeeding.
