Bhavisha Bhakta, DO
Dr. Bhakta specializes in obstetrics and gynecology and has served Mansfield and the surrounding communities since 2019. She is on the medical staff at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center, where she delivers babies, and loves being a part of this community.
She is passionate about providing education and early gynecological care for adolescent girls and young women and specializes in using the DaVinci Robotic System during minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Bhakta also provides contraceptive counseling and addresses issues such as uterine bleeding, infertility, endometriosis, PCOS, pregnancy, and high-risk pregnancy.
Dr. Bhakta earned her medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Missouri in Kansas City. Her tenacity and dedication to women’s health not only allowed her to become the first higher education graduate but also the first physician in her family.
Outside of work, she enjoys playing sand volleyball and tennis, running, dancing, and binge-watching Netflix shows. She is fluent in Gujarati, conversationally fluent in Hindi, a self-professed Thai food fanatic, and enjoys spending time with her husband, David.
Jenna Seawright, MD
Originally from Midlothian, Texas, Jenna Seawright, MD, is passionate about returning to her roots and giving back to the same community that had such a profound impact on her childhood. Dr. Seawright graduated with her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. She earned her medical degree from University of Texas School of Medicine in San Antonio, and completed her residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at Methodist Dallas Medical Center.
Dr. Seawright has a special interest in women’s comprehensive health and wellness, as well as providing compassionate and informative pregnancy care. Dr. Seawright is able to provide screenings and preventive care, contraceptive and preconception counseling, and has specialized training in minimally invasive surgery with the DaVinci Robotic System. She is also experienced in office procedures such as administering NEXPLANON® and intrauterine devices. Additionally, she addresses pelvic pain, uterine bleeding, and high-risk pregnancy.
Outside of work, Dr. Seawright enjoys traveling with her husband, exploring local restaurants, gardening, yoga, reading, and spending time with her family.
Morgan Copeland, PA-C
A Grand Prairie native, Morgan Copeland is a certified physician assistant who is passionate about providing her patients with quality care. As a physician assistant, she can diagnose and treat patients in lieu of a physician. This unique flexibility allows patients the option to book their appointments sooner, expediting care.
Copeland has a special interest in reproductive endocrinology and infertility, assists with laparoscopies, laparotomies, and hysteroscopic surgeries, and has experience performing HSGs and endometrial biopsies. She also addresses endometriosis, early pregnancy, contraceptive counseling, pre-conceptual counseling, women’s wellness visits, infertility counseling and initial screening, and pre- and post-operative visits.
She completed her undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University and earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center. Outside of work, Copeland enjoys working on hand embroidery projects, looking for new recipes to try out for her family, and attending her two children’s sporting events.
