At Methodist Southlake Hospital, two appointments will be set to help prepare you for your procedure: a pre-admission consultation and the procedure itself. Ideally, these two appointments are set several days apart to allow for any additional consultation or testing that may be required.
Your pre-admission consultation allows our team the opportunity to gather important information about your medical and surgical history. Our goal is to provide a safe and comfortable procedure, reduce possible complications and eliminate the need for readmission.

You will be escorted to our pre-op area. Friends and family may wait in the surgical waiting area and will have the opportunity to visit with you before your procedure.
*Hospital caregivers are required to reconcile your daily medications ordered by physicians outside of the hospital.

Please arrive two hours prior to your scheduled surgery time. You may park anywhere except the ER ambulance parking spaces.
Please note: All patients must be accompanied by someone who will be responsible to provide transportation after your procedure is complete. If you arrive unaccompanied, it is likely that your procedure will be cancelled.
When you arrive, enter the main lobby and sign in with our front desk receptionist, who will direct you to Admissions.
