What Moves the Foundation

Guided by the founding principles of life, learning, and compassion, Dallas-based Methodist Health System provides quality, integrated healthcare to improve and save lives throughout North Texas. Ten hospitals and more than two dozen Methodist Family Health Centers and Medical Groups are among the facilities served by the nonprofit Methodist Health System, which is affiliated by covenant with the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church.

  • Methodist Health System's Response to Tackling the Nursing Shortage

    NURSES. They are the heartbeat of the hospital — the core care providers, the shoulders to cry on, and the medical problem-solvers. For almost 94 years, Methodist Health System has pursued innovative ways to meet the needs of the communities it serves, and now we’re tackling the rising nursing shortage. The Texas Center for Nursing Workforce Studies shows a deficit of 57,000 registered nurses by the year 2032. A quarter of these vacancies will be in North Texas.
